Annapolis Summit:The Peace-Roaring Warmongerers on the Victims of War

The most warmongering capitalist governments are meeting in the state of Maryland, United States.

The ironic part is that the U.S. is a central part of the planning of all wars, coup d'états, and is behind bloodshed around the world during the past century.  They are gathering in order to write a pre scri ption of peace for the people of Palestine!  Among the governments participating, a seat for the Islamic capitalist regime of Iran is empty.  The list of all these warmongerings, the real agents of all miseries, starvation, and the bloodshed of millions of people could be completed if the Iranian regime would attend.  The first question to be raised in front of this puppet show full of trickeries is that who are all of these drunken peace brawlers at this gathering of governments and forces?  The answer to this question does not require any research.  They are all the same governments that they have ruined the lives of the working people of Palestine 60 years ago.  They are the same forces that 60 years ago had forcibly displaced people with tanks with all necessary brutality.  They have blocked any income and means of subsistence for them. They have deprived them from their own city.  They are the same governments who have given strong support to the vicious government of Israel.  They are the same governments who were giving billion of dollars from the labour outcome of the working class around the world to the cruel regime of Israel in the form of bombs and other armaments.  They are all gathering at the Annapolis Summit.  Also of course, there are the bourgeois Arab Sheiks who in the worst way are soaking up the blood of Palestinians and all Arab workers.  They are the same Sheiks who have used this catastrophic situation which has been endured by the working people of Palestine, and of course, at the expense of these people for their own profit and politico-economic merchandising.

All of these brutal spectrums are gathering in Annapolis, Maryland to give the gift of peace to the people of Palestine.  Additionally Mahmoud Abbas, as part of the most desperate Palestinian bourgeoisie, must play a role there.  Yet why does this summit in reality take place, and what kinds of problems is it supposed to solve?  Or, more precisely, to which problems are these governments responding? – To each other.  It is in the name of the Palestinian people here that are the secret puzzle.  What has happened that this puppet show is making a big deal out of it?  Our answers are:

  1. The bourgeoisie in its own class existence is the class of hatred and the American bourgeoisie is one the most hated one in the world.  During the seven years of the Bush administration, the level of the hatred by the working class has reached its highest.  The war on Afghanistan, Iraq and all their crimes that have been occurring; when Auschwitz is compared to these wars, it is nothing.  Failure after failure; and at a one and a half trillion dollar cost is being paid by the people of America; many families losing their sons and daughters who were soldiers in these wars; many injured, disabled from the wars are found in all of the cities in the United States; the increasing homelessness of the veterans; and the pressure of the dissent by the American people; direct the American bourgeoisie to bring in a magician to create an illusion of credit for the bourgeois Americans in the public eye.
  2. The war in Iraq until now had one winner and it was the inhuman bourgeois Islamic government of Iran.  Not only the war in Iraq, but also many other recent events in the Middle East over the past years, resulted in the situation of the loss of credit for America and the American bourgeoisie.  On the contrary, the role of the Iranian regime has been gaining strength.  The situation of the bourgeoisie of Iran has become a disruptive competitor and an extortionist.  The bourgeoisie of Iran has developed an important role as a hinge among the new global capitalist poles.  Some of the approaches of the most important socio-political powers have been linked to the role of the bourgeoisie of Iran within the realm of the global dispute such as China and Russia.  The existence of Hamas and Hezbollah is helping this situation more and more.  Additionally, the unbelievable savagery of the Islamic government of Iran in imposing such widespread forms of starvation and the complete removal of any rights for the more than 10 million working class, and the subsequent utilization of the enormous surplus value accumulated by the pure exploitation of these masses has all contributed to the bourgeoisie government of Iran to rise up as an important competitor in the Middle East against the bourgeoisie of America.  This factor along with others has made the situation of the U.S unstable.  The direct result of this obvious instability could be seen in the direction, positions, and alignments of the American allies’ confusion within the Gulf circle.  With every connection with American diplomats, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar have to have the same counterpart with Iran.
  3. In one year the United States will have elections, and the Bush Administration, and in general, the Republican policy definitely failed, and they know that.  In attempting to bring credit for the American bourgeoisie, Bush and his administration has lost.
  4. The level of dissent and anger among the working people of Israel is greatly increasing with its economic instability, unemployment, and lack of safety, as well as the possibility of dissent of the Palestinian workers with another Intifida.  Based on statistics only 11% of the people who are living a great distance from the border feel safe.
  5. The situation of the United States in Lebanon is immensely shaky.  The situation of the supporters of Israel and the White House in Lebanon is losing its ground to Hezbollah particularly due to the July 2006 war in Lebanon.  Furthermore, all of these characters have given a better situation to the Syrian government, Hamas, and Hezbollah.
  6. The 60 years of continuing massacres on the working people of Palestine by Israel has not solved any problems for Israel.  Additionally, some sectors of the bourgeoisie of Palestine who have held hope in the West has become shakier.  And, it is a warning sign for both Israel and the United States.
  7. Last but not least, the recent crisis of the market economy in the United States is hanging over the heads of the Bush administration.

The Annapolis Summit had started its agenda and procedures only under such pressures mentioned above.  What are not important at all at this summit are the working people of Palestine.  On the contrary, the importance of this summit is finding a way to solve the problems of the bourgeoisies of Israel and the United States.  During the summit when all of these peace-roaring warmongers were shouting for “peace”, the Israeli soldiers continued to murder the Palestinian people on a daily basis.  The summit is supposed to buy the “reputation” for the Bush administration!  It is supposed to open a discussion about the Golan Heights (Syria) and consequently is pushing Syria to consider its relationship with Iran.  It is meant to make an illusion for the working people of Palestine and bring a better situation for Fatah instead of Hamas.  It is meant to eliminate the balance of influence for Iran and bring more influence for the United States.  The Annapolis Summit was formed with such objectives.  It may, however, meet some of these goals to a tiny extent.

However, there is nothing more ridiculous than if the workers of Palestine have hope in such a summit, that such a summit can solve the problems of the workers of Palestine, and it is also more ridiculous if the European, Asian, American, African, Latin-American workers think that such a summit can bring even a bit of solution to the problems of the Palestinian workers.  The third position is that it is also most ridiculous if the Iranian workers or Arab workers think that all of the gestures of the Iranian government have anything to do with the working people of Palestine.  The main point of all of these problems is only in the hands of the international working class.  If a worker of Palestine is cognizant, they have no way out but to refer to the international working class.  Additionally, the international proletarians in as much as they recognize their own internationalist and class interests, without a doubt, they recognize the problem of the Palestinian worker as their own problem.  The unity of the workers of Israel and Palestine against the entire bourgeois of the Arab world and Israel, while at the same time there is solidarity of the workers around the world for them; their fights against the global bourgeois is the only ground for the real emancipation of the working masses of these countries.
